auteos - an Engineering Consultancy founded in June 2014 by Peter Hoenen, offers customized solutions in the field of autonomous solar electric and hot water supply. Another focus lies on the use of  solar power for agricultural and horticultural applications, for example solar pumps in combination with water saving irrigation systems and  solar crop drying. 

My professional life has evolved in conjunction with my personal interests not only responding to my passion for horticulture and solar technology but also meeting my need to impart knowledge, competencies and expertise. I'm a  graduated engineer (horticulture) and solar technology expert  and have  been working in the solar industry for 12 years as product manager and sales representative (Africa) at Wagner Solartechnik,  the pioneer among German solar technology  companies, before I started my own consultancy “auteos – Autarke Solarsysteme” in 2014.

My service includes customer-specific  consultation, as well as system dimensioning and the preparation of international tenders. Comprehensive professional know-how is your guaranty for the reliable realization of your projects. I can look back on many years of experience in the implementation of national and international solar projects. On behalf of  GIZ GmbH (German Society for International Cooperation - GIZ), international foundations and organisations I work as an independent consultant .
A further area of activity is the provision of  practical solar trainings and workshops.

auteos - als Ingenieurbüro im Juni 2014 gegründet und als Handwerksbetrieb eingetragen - setzt Ihre Projekte zur unabhängigen Strom- und Warmwasserversorgung erfolgreich in die Praxis um. 
Ein weiterer Schwerpunkt liegt bei solartechnischen Anwendungen für den Land- und Gartenbau, wie Solarpumpen in Kombination mit wassersparenden Bewässerungsystemen und der solaren Trocknung von Erntegut (Nach-Ernteschutz). 

Mein Service beinhaltet die kundenspezifische Beratung, die Auslegung kompletter Anlagen und darüber hinaus den Verkauf der notwendigen Komponenten sowie die  Installation.
